On this show we are speaking with Brian Ferguson, Professor of Sociology and Anthropology at Rutgers University Newark. Brian Ferguson’s research on the origins of war, going back to the beginning of human history and our closest ape relatives, suggests war is not part of our evolution. Ferguson wrote an article in the Scientific American in 2018 titled, “War Is Not Part of Human Nature,” and we publish in Pressenza an article by April M. Short titled “War Is Not Innate to Humanity—A More Peaceful Future Is Possible, Says Historical Anthropologist” based on Mr Ferguson’s studies.
