On this show, we speak with Giorgio Cantarini, award-winning actor from Life is Beautiful and Gladiator, who is now involved on new production by Alveare Cinema in Rome, Italy.
The film is called On the Fourth String, and focuses on climate crisis after a 2018 hurricane-force windstorm destroyed millions of trees in a few hours in Northeast Italy. Those particular trees were used to make the highest quality of violins in the world. Also joining us, representing Alveare Cinema is Pressenza contributor and teacher of Italian at SUNY, Jacqueline Jill Rito.
